Who Will Break Chris Morris’s Record At IPL 2023 Auction: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced IPL 2023 auctions on 23rd December 2022. Several players globally have registered themselves in the mega-auctions, where each team will bid on the registered players according to their purse value. The total auction pool remaining in the current leg of IPL 2023 is ₹206.5 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad has the most amount left in their purse, i.e. ₹42.25 crores.

All the ten franchises have retained or acquired their player for this edition. Now show the begins for the auction to witness who will be the most expensive buy of the season or all-time. According to the reports, many cricket pundits claim that Sam Curran and Rilee Rossouw are among the players who might be on the list of all the franchises. Mega auctions are to be held on 23 December 2022. 

A total of 1214 people have registered for the IPL Mega Auctions 2022. There are 896 Indians and 318 internationals among the 1214 players. Many world-class players were not acquired by their respective teams. In the upcoming auctions, all of the players are likely to engage in a bidding war.

Some cricket pundits also acknowledge that the highest bid of all time will be broken in this auction pool which has been held by Chris Morris a whopping amount of 16.25 crore.
