The greatest leg-spinner of all time, Shane Keith Warne, passed away today. Warne was 52 and had performed wonders on the field. With a tally of 708 Test match wickets, he was arguably the greatest leg-spinner of all time. Warne had played more than 300 games for Australia, counting all formats.
According to the Australian media outlet Fox Sports, “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa, and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.” This is indeed shocking news for the cricketing world. The management also stated, “The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
Sad to hear the news that Rod Marsh has passed. He was a legend of our great game & an inspiration to so many young boys & girls. Rod cared deeply about cricket & gave so much-especially to Australia & England players. Sending lots & lots of love to Ros & the family. RIP mate❤️
