Where And How To Watch The Kerala Cricket League T20 2024?

Kerala, India’s newest Twenty20 franchise cricket competition is called the Kerala Cricket League (KCL). The Kerala Cricket League (KCL), which is run by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) and approved by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), attempts to give the state exposure for prominent cricket matches as well as a chance for regional talent to show off on a bigger scale.

The inaugural season will see six different franchises take part. These are Alleppey Ripples, Thrissur Titans, Trivandrum Royals, Kochi Blue Tigers, Calicut Globstars and Kollam Sailors. With the purpose of representing various parts of Kerala, each squad has been carefully constructed to attract a large number of local supporters. Iconic players such as Mohammed Azharuddeen (Alleppey Ripples), Rohan S Kunnummal (Calicut Globstars), Basil Thampi (Kochi Blue Tigers), Sachin Baby (Kollam Sailors), Vishnu Vinod (Thrissur Titans), and Abdul Basith (Trivandrum Royals) have been picked by the teams.

A total of 168 players registered for the player auction, which took place on 10th August 2024, with each side able to select up to 20 players. Both, the Tamil Nadu Premier League and Andhra Premier League, follow this system as well as it is more exciting than a simple draft. The auction element adds a lot more excitement and suspense as both the fans and the players wait to see which team picks which players and at what price.

During the league stage, the KCL uses a round-robin structure in which every team plays every other team twice. The top four clubs from the league stage move on to the semi-finals, which are followed by a championship game to crown the victor. The Kerala Cricket League has partnered with Star Sports for television broadcasting. This is a big deal because broadcasting the league on Sky Sports makes it easily accessible, making it comfortable for fans to follow and keep up with the action.

Is There Any Official Online Streaming Partner?

Aside from partnering up with Star Sports for television broadcasting, the league has also partnered up with FanCode for live streaming. On FanCode, you can view this tournament by selecting one of the passes that are up for grabs.
