Virat Kohli Vs Australia In T20I Matches

Indian middle order star Virat Kohli has been in the limelight following his return to form at the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022. The 33-year-old struggled with the bat for over 2 years before going on to become the fourth Indian cricketer who has record a century in every format of the game.

The former Indian team captain announced his comeback to form with spectacular outings at the 6-nation tournament. After a decent performance against archrivals Pakistan in the campaign opener, Kohli went on to score back-to-back half centuries. He latter topped it up with his maiden T20I century, smashing 122* from 61 balls against Afghanistan.

The middle order batsman ended up scoring 276 runs from 5 innings while recording a jaw dropping strike rate of 147.59. He was the second highest run scorer at the Asia Cup with Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan scoring 281 in 6 innings.

Virat Kohli’s next assignment sees the batting icon square off against Australia at home with the 3 match T20I series kicking off on 20th September. He is expected to carry on the form with fans looking at the 2011 World Cup winner to continue his exploits as the ICC T20 World Cup is just round the corner.
