Former India captain Virat Kohli, who is all set to make his much-awaited return to international cricket after a brief break. The 33-year-old recently gathered a lot of attention before the Men in Blues’ much awaited Asia Cup clash against their arch-rivals.
The Rohit Sharma led Indian cricket team is all set to lock horns against Pakistan in their tournament opener at the Asia Cup. The clash is scheduled to be played on 28th August at the Dubai International Stadium. Ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Virat Kohli made a Pakistan fan’s day after a training session in the UAE.
The star batter was training alongside the Indian squad at the ICC Academy in Dubai as teams were conducting their practice sessions ahead of the 6-nation competition. As Kohli was walking back to the team bus after the practice, a fan was seen approaching him in a video that is being shared across on social media.

Guards at the ICC Academy could be seen stopping the fan named Mohammad Jibran, who was rushing towards Kohli but was stopped by the security officials. He observed the turn of events and took some time out from his hectic training schedule for the die-hard fan.
Before climbing onto the team bus, the 33-year-old met the fan from Lahore and agreed to take selfies with him alongside the other cricket fans. Jibranm, who claimed to be a die-hard fan of Virat Kohli, revealed how he had come all the way from Lahore, to get a glimpse of the star while hoping to click a selfie with him.
The fan spoke with PakTV and shared how his wish come true aftre clicking selfies with Kohli while praising the 33 year old for being an amazing person. He is quoted saying , “I am not a fan of anyone but Virat Kohli, for whom I have come from Pakistan hoping to get a picture clicked with him. I waited for an entire month for this so the moment he finished his practice and was about to go back to his hotel, I tried a lot. He is an amazing person besides being a fabulous cricketer. He listened to me and agreed to my request of getting the selfie clicked.”
