Virat Kohli Reveals The Impact Player Of Australia Ahead Of WTC 2023 Final

Virat Kohli revealed the impact player for Australia ahead of the WTC 2023 final. David Warner, he believes, is the player who can make a huge difference in the game.

The match begins today, but Kohli understands that getting away with Warner in this series will be difficult. He says, “When Warner gets going, it’s difficult to stop him because he doesn’t make many mistakes.”

The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently posted a video on its Twitter account in which Kohli discusses the impact of Warner on WTC 2023 final. The ICC captioned this video, “Virat Kohli knows the impact David Warner can have in a big match.”

“When David gets going, he can take the game away from you pretty quickly,” Indian batter Kohli says. He’s someone you want to get away from soon since he can hurt you very early and consistently. He tends to go into this zone where he just starts hitting boundaries and doesn’t stop, and he doesn’t make many mistakes in that space.”

Despite struggling during the 2019 Ashes tour with just 95 runs in five Tests at 9.5 average, David Warner was able to regain some form during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. He scored 516 runs in 14 matches with an average of 36.86 and a strike rate of 131.63. Although he wasn’t at his best, these runs will surely boost his confidence for the upcoming final.

He is currently on his last England tour and has already planned to retire after the SCG Test against Pakistan in January. Although the 36-year-old may not be at his best in the longest format of the game, he will surely be determined to give his best shot in the WTC 2023 final matches and the Ashes so that he ends his final overseas Test tour on a positive note.
