Virat Kohli scored one of his highest-ever scores against Sri Lanka on 28th February 2012. Sri Lanka batted first and managed to put up a good target of 320 on the board. Virendra Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, and Gautam Gambhir gave good starts, but it was Virat Kohli who stole the show. He hit 133 runs in 86 balls at a strike rate of 154.65 and helped India chase the score down in just 36.4 overs, winning the game by seven wickets with 80 balls remaining.
Another one of Virat Kohli’s spectacular performances came on 26th February 2014 against Bangladesh. The opposition batted first but could only put a total of 279 on the board. Despite the early wickets, Virat Kohli managed to stabilise the game and prevent any collapse. Kohli scored 136 runs in 122 balls at a strike rate of 111.47. This helped India chase the total down in 49 overs, and they won the game by six wickets with six balls remaining.

The Indian cricket team beat South Africa in a One-Day International game on 22nd October 2015. They batted first, and Virat Kohli put in a brilliant performance, scoring 138 runs in 140 balls at a strike rate of 98.57. This helped the Indian cricket team set a decent target of 299 on the board, one that South Africa was unable to chase down. India ended up restricting them to just 264 runs, winning the game by 35 runs.

Virat Kohli had one of his best-ever One Day International (ODI) performances against New Zealand on 23rd October 2016. New Zealand batted first, and India bowled them out for just 285 runs. India lost two early wickets in the chase, but once again, Virat Kohli came to the rescue. He scored 154 runs in 134 balls at a strike rate of 114.92, helping the Indian cricket team chase down the total in 48.2 overs, winning the game by seven wickets with 10 balls remaining.
The Indian cricket team faced the West Indies in a One-Day International (ODI) match on 24th October 2018. In the second inning, India absolutely dominated Sri Lanka, bowling them out for just 73 runs, winning the game by a huge margin of 317 runs.
