Virat Kohli has not shied away from lashing out with his frustration after his privacy was invaded in Australia. The 33-year-old is currently featuring for the Men in Blue in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022. He has gone on to share a video on his official Instagram page about his hotel room in Australia, claiming how he is feeling paranoid about his privacy.
The former Team India captain has lashed out on social media and is quoted saying, “I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy.”

“If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment,” Virat Kohli added. Citing the issue, The Perth hotel crown resorts have gone on to apologize for the incident and suspended the staff member(s) that were involved.

Kohli has fared well in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. He has scored 156 runs in three innings during the ICC tournament while recording a haw dropping strike rate of 144. However, after solid outings against Pakistan and Netherlands in the competition, the former Indian skipper failed to deliver against South Africa in the latest outing.
Rohit Sharma’s men could not get the job done with the ball as the Proteas recorded a massive 5-wicket win to hand India their first loss of the tournament. South Africa’s victory over the Men in Blue will also have a heavy impact on Pakistan, who will have to see a lot of results going their way in order to make it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
The Indian cricket team and Virat Kohli, on the other hand, will look to get back on the winning ways when they lock horns against Bangladesh in their upcoming clash. It will be their penultimate game of the group stage, with their last match coming against Zimbabwe on 6th November.
