Thailand Women defeated Pakistan Women Cricket team to create history in the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2022. They went on to register a four-wicket against the Women in Green to create a landmark achievement by defeating Pakistan for the first time.
Riding on the performance of Natthakan Chatham who scored a half-century during the chase, Thailand managed to chase down the highest ever score in the Asia Cup. Chantham’s 61 played a crucial role in helping the team remain in the chase and reach the target with one ball to spare. Thailand women managed to score 10 runs off the last 5 balls in their innings to pocket an impressive victory in Women’s Asia Cup 2022.
Pakistan, who scored 116 in the first innings failed to get going with the ball as Thailand managed to remain in the chase throughout the innings. Despite claiming Chantham’s wicket in the 19th over, the Women in Green failed to defend their target to see a historic day in Women’s Cricket.
