Can India Regain Control Of The Match After Travis And Smith’s Wickets?: The game on 7th June brought a clear picture for team India, and bowlers could have also learned a lesson from yesterday’s match. But things got repeated for a few moments on Day 2 as bowlers blasted only a few bouncers.
Despite Shami’s efforts to outplay Head and Smith, the batters skillfully thwarted his every attempt. Head dealt a significant blow to Shami’s performance in the 90th over, hitting two boundaries.
In the 91st over, Siraj proved to be a great asset for team India as his short ball spell resulted in Head being sent back to the pavilion. He successfully managed to eliminate Australia’s key player.

Shami then regained confidence and bowled wonderfully in the 93rd over, giving only one run. Australia have scored 368 runs while losing four wickets at this stage.
As expected, Shami bowled an impeccable delivery in the 95th over, resulting in the dismissal of Cameron Green. During the second ball of the over, Green was only able to score six runs before being sent back to the pavilion.
India’s bowling line saw a significant boost during the 99th over when Shardul Thakur successfully dismissed Australia’s second top batsman, Steven Smith.
Despite losing important wickets in the form of Head and Green, it cannot be concluded that this will completely turn the match around in favor of India.
Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc is still on the field and will look forward to hitting out big shots after compeleting 400 runs. There is a possibility that both players will strive to turn the tables after accumulating a total of 400 runs.
The bowlers from India can remain composed and apply pressure heavily on the batters, similar to their approach against Head, Green and Smith.
