The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 29 might be the perfect time for FPL owners to use their ‘Free Hit’ chip. Due to the upcoming FA Cup fixtures this week, only eight of the twenty teams will play in Gameweek 29. Some of the biggest Premier League teams, like Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United, will have a blank week. The only four fixtures which will go ahead as planned are Burnley vs Brentford, Luton Town vs Nottingham Forest, Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham vs Aston Villa. This article talks about some of the best captain picks and differentials to pick for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 29.

Ollie Watkins is one of the favourites to get the captaincy band for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 29. The striker has been on fire this season, getting 16 goals and 15 assists in 28 games in the current Fantasy Premier League season. Aston Villa is one of the only teams playing in Gameweek 29. He will quite likely be the most captained player in Gameweek 29.

Son Heung-min has started catching form once again for Tottenham Hotspur. The forward has two goals and two assists in his last two Premier League games for the club. Spurs will continue their bid to finish in the top four in Gameweek 29. Son Heung-min will be a very important player for them in their game against Fulham. The South Korean will hope he can keep up his current form and end up on the scoresheet. Fantasy Premier League players may opt to captain Son Heung-min over Ollie Watkins this week as he has an easier fixture lined up.
"If he can get to 20 goals, it would be a great record."
David Moyes believes Jarrod Bowen can become the first West Ham player to score 20 goals in a Premier League season ⚽ pic.twitter.com/wycP94QSl4

West Ham went through a terrible patch at the start of the year. Nothing seemed to be clicking like it had the rest of the season, and they struggled to score goals in January and February. However, the team regained its form towards the end of February. Currently, West Ham has scored 14 goals in their last five games in all competitions. They are back to their best, as is their star player, Jarrod Bowen. While West Ham has a tough fixture against Aston Villa in Gameweek 29, he may end up being a good captain pick, given the limited options available.

Ivan Toney faces Burnley in Gameweek 29. This is the best matchup of Gameweek 29. While Brentford have not been in the best of form recently, they play 19th-placed Burnley in Gameweek 29. Only Sheffield United has conceded more goals this season than Burnley, so this might be the perfect game for Ivan Toney to regain his form. If Brentford can get in behind Burnley’s defence, this may end up being a very high-scoring game for Ivan Toney.
Carlton Morris now has more points than Erling Haaland since returning from injury

Carlton Morris is an option Fantasy Premier League players can explore this week. While he is not the best option to give the captaincy band to this week, Gameweek 29 is one of the best chances players will have to try something different to shoot up the ranks. If you want to cover up points on someone ahead of you, Morris is someone who can help with that. He faces Nottingham Forest this week. Luton has scored in every game since Gameweek 13 and will hope to continue this record. If they do end up scoring, it is likely that it will be Carlton Morris who does so.

James Maddison is another option for Gameweek 29. Spurs are one of the eight teams playing in Gameweek 29. They face Fulham, and it will not come as a surprise if people decide to double up on both James Maddison and Son Heung-min. While the player is not extremely rare in Fantasy Premier League teams, he can still be a reliable option to help you shoot up the ranks in Gameweek 29.

Brentford is the most likely team to keep a clean sheet in Gameweek 29. On top of the possible defensive returns, Sergio Reguilon can easily end up providing points in the form of goals and assists. The Spanish defender plays as an extremely advanced fullback and regularly gets involved in Brentford’s attacks. He also takes certain set-pieces for his team, which makes him a very big threat. At just 3.5% ownership, Reguilon is a very good option to have in your team for Gameweek 29.
Ross Barkley, it’s happened again….. you weapon 🫡 #afcb pic.twitter.com/M401rSDpFc

Ross Barkley has been phenomenal for Luton Town recently. All attacks seem to go through him. Apart from starting the attacks, the midfielder is also seen making late runs into the box, acting as an incredibly dangerous option. Barkley showed off his lethal finishing against Bournemouth last week, finishing a Luton Town attack from an extremely tight angle. He is owned by just 3.5% of Fantasy Premier League players and can be an extremely helpful differential player to have in your team for Gameweek 29.

Dejan Kulusevski is a player you can punt on if you need to cover up on points. While there are more reliable options in Spurs, like Son Heung-min and James Maddison, they are owned by a lot more Fantasy Premier League team owners than Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish forward is only owned by 3% of FPL owners and can help you jump up the ranks in Gameweek 29.
🇬🇭‼️ Mohammed Kudus (23) has now hit 20 goal contributions so far this season…

On Thursday, Mohammed Kudus scored a brace against SC Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League. He hopes to continue this form going into Gameweek 29. West Ham has been in fantastic form as well, and if they turn up against Aston Villa in Gameweek 29, Mohammed Kudus can end up giving a very big return to his Fantasy Premier League owners.
