Test cricket is considered one of the toughest cricketing formats, where a player’s mental toughness, character, physical fitness, and technique are tested. Test cricket is also the most respected format played for more than 148 years. Not every country is eligible to play the test. The countries approved by International Cricket Council (ICC) are only allowed to participate and play the game.
In the late 2000s, a discussion was initiated regarding the Day-Night test. The first Day-Night game was played between Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. It was a first-class match. In October 2012, ICC revised the playing conditions for Test matches and permitted Day/Night tests.
The first-ever International Day-Night match was played between Australia and New Zealand at Adelaide Oval, Australia. Bowlers have played their part in the Day-Night format. This article will look at five bowlers who have taken maximum wickets in the Day-Night test matches.
