One of Mitchell Starc’s best games came against England on 19th January 2018 at The Gabba. The Australian bowler picked up four wickets and conceded just 69 runs in the match, a stellar performance. However, it was not enough, as England went on to win the game by four wickets (34 balls left). He picked up the wickets of Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, and Moeen Ali.
In a game between Australia and Sri Lanka on 15th June 2019 at The Oval, Mitchell Starc picked up four wickets while conceding just 55 runs, making it one of his best-ever figures. Australia batted first and made 334 runs. Sri Lanka only managed to make 247 runs before being bowled out. Mitchell Starc picked up the wickets of Kusal Perera, Kusal Mendis, Milinda Siriwardana, and Thisara Perera to help Australia win the game by 87 runs.
Australia faced England on 25th June 2019 at Lord’s. Australia batted first and set a target of 286 for England, which turned out to be too big of a task for England. They got bowled out for just 221 runs as Jason Behrendorff and Mitchell Starc picked up nine wickets between them to help their country win by 64 runs. Starc bowled only 8.4 overs but picked up four wickets and conceded just 43 runs. He picked up the wickets of a number of English stars, including Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, and Adil Rashid.

In another game between Australia and England, Mitchell Starc managed to shine once again to help his team win against England by 72 runs. This game took place at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on 19th November 2022. Australia set a target of 281 runs for England and was able to successfully defend it thanks to brilliant performances by both Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa. Starc picked up four wickets while conceding just 47 runs in eight overs. He picked up the wickets of Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, Chris Woakes, and David Willey.
Australia faced West Indies at Trent Bridge on 6th June 2019. West Indies managed to get Australia all out for 288 runs. They made a good effort to chase down the target but failed short, losing by 15 runs. This happened due to the stellar performance of Mitchell Starc, who picked up five wickets while conceding just 46 runs. Starc picked up the wickets of Chris Gayle, Jason Holder, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, and Sheldon Cottrell to help Australia win.

Another fifer by Mitchell Starc that helped Australia win a game came against New Zealand on 29th June 2016 at Lord’s. Australia made 243 runs to set a respectable target for New Zealand. The Kiwis collapsed very fast, thanks to Starc’s bowling, and Australia ended up winning the game by 86 runs. Mitchell Starc picked up the wickets of Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, and Lockie Ferguson to complete his fifer while conceding just 26 runs.
Australia faced West Indies on 21st July 2021 at Kensington Oval Barbados. Mitchell Starc delivered another impeccable performance in this game against West Indies. He picked up five wickets and conceded just 48 runs to help Australia win by 133 runs via the DLS method. One of the only two times Mitchell Starc managed to pick up six wickets in a single One Day International (ODI) came against India on 18th January 2015. The game happened at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), and India batted first. They were bowled out for just 267 runs, and Australia won the match. Mitchell Starc won the Player of the Match award thanks to his brilliant performance in which he conceded just 43 runs and picked up the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Axar Patel, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

The game between Australia and New Zealand, which took place on 28th February 2015 at Eden Park, was one of the most entertaining games in ODI cricket. Australia batted first but was bowled out for a very low total of 151 runs. It looked like New Zealand would easily win the game, but a brilliant effort by Mitchell Starc kept Australia in. He picked up six wickets and conceded just 28 runs and almost got Australia over the line.
