First: ICC World Cup

Australian cricket team made history in 2007 by becoming the first team to win three consecutive World Cup tournaments.

Second: ICC Champions Trophy

The Champions Trophy, an ODI cricket tournament organized by the ICC, has been around since 1998 and takes place every four years. The ICC Champions Trophy is an essential cricket tournament, second only to the ICC World Cup. Originally called the ICC Knockout tournament, it earned its current name and even has a mini world cup. Unfortunately, the last time it was played was in 2017, leaving fans eagerly waiting for its return.

Named after two cricket legends, Allan Border from Australia and Sunil Gavaskar from India, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is a Test series that is widely respected worldwide. It pays tribute to the accomplishments of these two captains, who were the first to reach the 10,000-run club.

The series began in 1996, and to date, India has won 11 titles, while Australia has won 5. Ninth: Caribbean Premier League 

The Caribbean Premier League attracts a lot of attention from fans all over the world, with a significant number of viewers tuning in for every CPL game. The tournament is organized by the WICB (West Indies Cricket Board) and will soon be celebrating its 11th edition since its inception in 2013. 

Scheduled to take place from 16 August to 24 September 2023, the CPL showcases the best talent and skills of players from the Caribbean and other countries who play a bold and aggressive style of cricket. The event features six teams, with Trinbago Knight Riders and Jamaica Tallawahs each having won the tournament three times.

Tenth: Big Bash League  

The Big Bash League (BBL) has become a highly regarded Twenty20 cricket league not only in Australia but also worldwide. Its men’s edition premiered in 2011, while the women’s tournament began in 2015, and eight teams compete in the event. The women’s category has seen Sydney Thunder, Sydney Sixers, and Brisbane Heat claim the title twice each, whereas Perth Scorchers have won the men’s championship four times, with Sydney Sixers following closely with three victories.
