Three teams participating in the mega event are Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Trinbago Knight Riders. 

As previously stated, the tournament will begin on 24th August, with the grand final on 29th August 2022. The Sixty 2022 will be played in a 10-over format with only six wickets per innings.

The Sixty Women’s 2022 is a novel concept in which batters bat for six wickets and bowlers bowl back-to-back five overs from each end rather than changing ends after each. Any team that hits two sixes in the first powerplay receives an extra powerplay to bat. If an inning is not finished in 45 minutes, the bowling side is required to remove one fielder in the final over.
