Jhon Duran has been an absolute phenomenon for Aston Villa in the Premier League this season. The Colombian star is yet to start a single game in the league this season but he has been an incredible help from the bench. He has played a total of 184 minutes, coming off the bench in all seven games. Despite this, he has scored four crucial goals for Villa and is turning out to be the biggest surprise package in the league this season.

Ryan Gravenberch is an extremely talented midfielder who moved to the Premier League in 2023. However, he struggled to get used to the Premier League and barely got any minutes. Which is why no one expected him to be one of Liverpool’s most crucial players this season. He has started all seven games in the league and has played the entire game. He has been a rock in Liverpool’s midfield and looks at home at the club now.

Andre Onana made many mistakes in his first season with Manchester United in the Premier League. He was ridiculed by both rivals and fans of the club. Despite this, Onana blocked out everything and concentrated on improving his game and settling in. The Cameroon star seems to have accomplished exactly that this season. He has arguably been Manchester United’s best player this season, making unreal saves on many occasions. He currently is the keeper with the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season.

Ipswich Town are yet to win a game in the Premier League this season but one of the positives for them has been Liam Delap’s form. The striker quickly took to the Premier League and has scored four goals in his last five games. He has impressed many Premier League fans with his gameplay and if he continues playing like this it will not be surprising if he gets an offer from bigger teams after the current season ends.

With a plethora of defenders available in the Manchester City squad, not many would have predicted that Rico Lewis would be one of Pep Guardiola’s go-to defenders in the league this season. The English star has missed just one game in the league this season and this is because he has shown his skills and that the team can trust him. Lewis is just 19 years old and can be a very good future talent if he continues to play like this.

Nicolas Jackson signed with Premier League club Chelsea last season, but he did not fit in immediately. While he made good runs and got into promising situations, he was unable to finish off these chances. This season, however, he has improved his finishing vastly. Not only does he get into promising positions but is able to finish off the moves. The striker has four goals and three assists in seven Premier League games this season, which is a phenomenal return.

Jorgen Strand Larsen

Wolverhampton Wanderers have had a terrible start to the Premier League, picking up just one point in the first seven games. One of the positives, however, has been Jorgen Strand Larsen’s performance for the club. Wolves signed him on loan this season and he has turned out to be a brilliant striker for them. Larsen has already scored two goals and provided one assist in the league this season and will hope to help the club even more in the future.

Nikola Milenkovic signed with Premier League side Nottingham Forest ahead of the 2024/25 season. He has started every game for them apart from the first game of the season. He has been a rock for them in defence, with his best performance coming against Liverpool in the fourth Gameweek of the season. He has helped solidify Nottingham Forest’s defence and will hope he can continue to help them in the future.

Georginio Rutter

Georginio Rutter joined Leeds United in January 2023 and performed incredibly for them. Brighton recognised his talent and decided to sign him ahead of the 2024/25 season. He made his debut for the club on 24th August against Manchester United. The midfielder has featured in every game for the club since and has impressed everyone with his skills. He recently scored a goal and provided an assist against Tottenham Hotspur to help his team win 3-2. Brighton will hope that Rutter continues to perform like this.
