Why Stoinis Was Given Out? 

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) rules, a batsman can only be given out caught if the ball touches the glove that is touching the bat, or if the glove holding the bat touches the ball. The umpire gave a decision in favor of the bowler as he believed that Marcus Stoinis’ hand was touching the bottom hand that was in contact with the bat when he was caught out.
