Shubman Gill Is On TINDER! Is It Over With Sara Ali Khan?

Shubman Gill was in the news during the recently concluded third T20I match between India and New Zealand at Ahmedabad after a female fan was seen holding a peculiar poster for him. The writing on it was unlike anything fans had ever seen, with the text saying, ‘Tinder Shubman se match karado’ which translates to the girl requesting the dating app to get her in touch with the cricketer.

Gill stole the show in the third T20I against the Kiwis by scoring a blistering century at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The photo of this fan and the weird request went viral on social media, with the Twitterati enjoying the following for the young opening batter.

Tinder was quick to sure the fan photograph and placed it across various billboards around the country. Umesh Yadav, who has been named in the Indian team for the first two Tests for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy alongside Gill, also took to Twitter and shared the photos of those banners. The veteran pacer captioned them with, “Poora Nagpur bol raha hai, @ShubmanGill ab toh dekh le,”

Shubman Gill On Tinder? 

Gill reacted to a fangirl’s request to be paired alongside her on Tinder by on Twitter by sharing a video. In the clip, he attached the picture of the female fan to a video that shows Shubman Gill Tinder account.

It all seems to be a part of Tinder’s new branding strategy citing the hashtag used on Gill’s post with the planned campaign set in place to capture the fan’s attention. As a part of their new marketing strategy, Tinder placed the female fan’s viral photo on various billboards across Nagpur. It is also worth noting that the city is all set to host the first test match between India and Australia, which has been scheduled to begin on 9th February 2023.

Gill is a part of the Indian team that will host the Aussies for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Given the opener’s sensational run of form, the under-19 World Cup winner is highly likely to be a part of the Men in Blue’s playing XI.
