The KL Rahul led Indian cricket team registered a narrow win in the 3rd ODI against Zimbabwe on Monday. It saw them complete their third whitewash this year following a clean sweep against the African side, who fell 13 runs short in the last ODI. Veteran India opener Shikhar Dhawan led the celebrations after the 3-0 series win and posted a video on Instagram which saw the Indian players indulge in a dance on ‘Kala Chashma.’
Dhawan has been known to have a fun time off the field, with the opener often seen being active on social media. The 35-year-old batter keeps himself busy making hilarious reels with fellow teammates and India’s win against Zimbabwe was nothing different.

The video started off with Shikhar Dhawan donning black glasses alongside KL Rahul who was in the center frame before sidelining himself as his team mates began to dance. Young Indian batters in Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan took center stage. While Kishan was seen displaying some hilarious dance moves, Gill joined in with his own comical actions, enjoying himself after scoring his maiden ODI century in the first innings of the game.
Dhawan captioned the video, “That’s how we celebrate the win #Kala chasma.” The 35 year old also posted a similar video after he led the India team to a ODI series win against West Indies, earlier last month. Citing the same, WI legend Brian Lara commented on the openers post cheekly referring to the Indian team celebrations in the Caribbean. He said, “I remembered a similar group of guys dancing the night away a few weeks ago.”

Earlier in the final ODI, Gill and Kishan rise up to the occasion and play crucial innings for the Men in Blue after Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul went sent back in the hut. The duo stitched up a pivotal 140-run stand for the third wicket, helping the visitors post a competitive total on board.
Ishan Kishan ended up scoring an half century before being run on at the fag end of the innings. Shubman Gill on the other hand finally breached the three digit to register his maiden ton. He scored 130 off just 97 deliveries, to end up with the highest score by an Indian in Zimbabwe as well as becoming the 3rd youngest Indian to score a 100 overseas.
