10. 74 Against Mumbai Indians (25/05/2014)

Sanju Samson put in one of his best-ever performances against the Mumbai Indians on 25th May 2014. Rajasthan Royals batted first, and while Shane Watson lost his wicket cheaply, Samson stepped up and scored 74 runs in 47 balls at a strike rate of 157.4 to help the Rajasthan Royals set a target of 190 for the Mumbai Indians to try and chase down. However, Mumbai Indians, who needed to increase their NRR to qualify, came out swinging. Samson’s performance was in vain as Mumbai Indians managed to chase the score down in just 14.4 overs, thanks to Corey Anderson’s incredible performance.

10. 74 Against Chennai Super Kings (22/09/2020)

Sanju Samson put in an incredible shift in the Indian Premier League against the Chennai Super Kings on 22nd September 2020. Rajasthan Royals batted first, and Sanju Samson stepped in at number three after Yashasvi Jaiswal lost his wicket very early on. He formed a formidable partnership with Steve Smith and ended up scoring 74 runs in 32 balls at an incredible strike rate of 231.2 to help propel Rajasthan Royals to a total of 216. CSK tried very hard to chase the score down and managed to score 200, but that was the best they could do, and Rajasthan Royals ended up winning the game by a margin of 16 runs.

Sanju Samson made one of his highest IPL scores against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on 27th September 2021. Rajasthan Royals batted first, and while Evin Lewis lost his wicket very early, Sanju Samson stepped in at number three and steadied the ship. Samson played an amazing knock and scored 82 runs in 57 balls at a strike rate of 143.9 to help Rajasthan Royals reach a respectable total of 164. However, this total was not too challenging to the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and they ended up chasing the score down comfortably in 18.2 overs. SRH ended up winning the game with seven wickets in hand with 10 balls to spare.

7. 82 Against Lucknow Super Giants (24/03/2024)

Another brilliant performance was put in by Sanju Samson in the game between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants on 24th March 2024. Once again, Samson stepped in at number three and acted as Rajasthan Royals’ standout performer. 6. 85 Against Kings XI Punjab (27/09/2020)

Sanju Samson’s performance on 27th September 2020 helped the Rajasthan Royals win an absolute thriller against the Kings XI Punjab. Kings XI Punjab batted first, and brilliant performances by KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal saw Kings XI Punjab set a huge target of 223 for the Rajasthan Royals to try and chase down. While Jos Buttler lost his wicket very cheaply, Steve Smith, Sanju Samson, and Rahul Tewatia put in incredible performances. Sanju Samson played another fabulous inning on 7th May 2024 in a game between the Delhi Capitals and the Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals batted first, and Sanju Samson stepped in at number three to play a blinder. He scored 92 runs in 45 balls at a strike rate of 204.4 without losing his wicket to help the Rajasthan Royals set a target of 218 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore to try and chase down. RCB tried valiantly to try and chase this score down, but Rajasthan Royals managed to restrict them to 198 runs and managed to win the game by a margin of 19 runs.

2. 102 Against Rising Pune Supergiant (11/04/2017)

Sanju Samson’s first century in the Indian Premier League came against the Rising Pune Super Giant on 11th April 2017 while representing the Delhi Daredevils. DD batted first, and Sanju Samson stepped in at number three after Aditya Tare got out without scoring a single run. Sanju Samson went on to score his first IPL century, making 102 runs in 63 balls at a strike rate of 161.9 to help the Delhi Daredevils reach a total of 205. Sanju Samson scored his highest-ever score in the Indian Premier League on 12th April 2021 in the game between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Punjab Kings batted first, and incredible performances by KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, and Deepak Hooda saw the Punjab Kings set a target of 222 for the Rajasthan Royals to try and chase down. Samson played a brilliant inning as an opener and managed to score 119 runs in 63 balls at a strike rate of 188.9, but his efforts were in vain. Rajasthan Royals ended up losing very narrowly as Punjab Kings restricted them to 217 in 20 overs and won by a narrow margin of four runs.
