Dutt has established a successful career in the entertainment industry despite having a vague connection in drug activity and terrorism. As a huge fan of Sanjay Dutt, I have been closely following his acting career since his iconic role in Munna Bhai MBBS.

It saddens me to see that his career seems to be on the decline. However, I am impressed by his dedication to entertaining his fans in other ways, such as through his involvement in Cricket. Yes, you heard it right! It was recently announced that Dutt had purchased two franchise cricket teams: B-love Kandy Cricket team for the Lanka Premier League 2023 and Harare Hurricanes for the Zimbabwe Afro T10 League.

This news shocked and amazed me, as I wondered why he would invest in two relatively minor leagues instead of a more prestigious one? It’s important to note that the LPL and Zim Afro T10 leagues are much smaller compared to other cricket leagues like the Indian Premier League and Big Bash. It needs to be clarified why someone like Dutt would choose to focus on these smaller leagues instead of purchasing a team in a more well-known league. While it could be his love for the game, or some suspicious activity may also be at play.

According to Moneylife, Sports is an industry that continually receives money from various sources and has managed to thrive even during difficult times. It’s not surprising that financially lucrative sports such as football, tennis, Cricket, and boxing are more vulnerable to being used for money laundering. I am not saying that Dutt may get involved in this suspicious activity, but let’s consider it!

In the past, we have seen and heard of cases where the game of Cricket has been used for acts such as money laundering purposes. I’m not implying that Dutt is involved in any illegal activities, but it’s important to recognize the potential risks.
