Sadio Mane is a Senegalese professional footballer who currently represents the Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. The winger was regarded as one of the best forwards in the world in his prime and managed to finish second in the Ballon d’Or rankings in 2022. Mane was a part of a deadly trio while at Liverpool, combining with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah. This article talks about Sadio Mane’s net worth and the salary he earns while playing in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Nassr.
Sadio Mane started his football career at Senegalese club Generation Foot in 2009. He played for their youth team till 2011 before moving to French football club Metz, who gave him an offer that would see Mane play for the reserve team of Metz. He played for both the main team and the reserve team, but his stint with the club was very short. He performed well enough to impress Red Bull Salzburg, who decided to sign him in 2012.
Mane moved to FC Metz on 31st August 2012. He played for Red Bull Salzburg for three seasons in the Austrian Bundesliga and ended up making 87 appearances and scoring 45 goals for the club in all competitions. Sadio Mane moved to the Premier League on 1st September 2014 after joining Southampton in a deal worth around $15 Million. He signed a four-year contract with the club and made his debut just 22 days after signing with them. It was at Southampton that the player came into the spotlight. He performed wonderfully for them, turning out to be another future talent that The Saints had managed to get on their hands. He represented them for just two seasons, making 75 appearances in all competitions before he was snagged by a top Premier League club.

The Senegal star was signed by Liverpool on 28th June 2016, and he spent a major chunk of his career representing them. Mane represented them for six seasons in the Premier League, winning the 2019-20 Premier League and the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League titles with them. He made a total of 269 appearances for the club in all competitions and scored 120 goals. After having a hugely successful career with them, the player decided it was time for a move and joined Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
Sadio Mane joined Bayern Munich on 22nd June 2022, but his stint with the club was very short-lived. He played in the Bundesliga for just one season before news of a locker room bust-up between him and Leroy Sane broke out, which was followed by Bayern fining and suspending the player. This caused him to leave the German club and transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr on a three-year contract. These lucrative contracts throughout Mane’s career have been his primary source of income and have helped him amass a net worth of around $25 Million.

Sadio Mane signed a three-year contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr on 1st August 2023. This will see him stay at the club till the summer of 2026. While Mane’s decision to leave the Bundesliga came after some problems with his teammates, the Saudi Pro League were very excited at the prospect of being able to sign such a top player and jumped at the chance instantly. To ensure he joined them, they offered him a huge contract that nets him around $850,000/week, making him one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.
Given the fact that Mane currently has a ridiculously high-paying contract with Al-Nassr, his net worth will surely increase even further in the future. The forward is still 32 years old and has a fair few years left in him as a professional footballer. It will be very interesting to see if Sadio Mane decides to end his career by retiring in the Saudi Pro League or if he will look for opportunities to move back to Europe after his current contract with the club expires.
