MI Cape Town Vs Paarl Royals (MD6 – 13/01/2025)

MI Cape Town batted first against the Paarl Royals in SA20 2025 on 13th January 2025. They scored 172 runs, with Rassie van der Dussen (43 runs in 33 balls) and Reeza Hendricks (59 runs in 37 balls) as the stars. George Linde, Rashid Khan, and Kagiso Rabada performed brilliantly with the ball and restricted Paarl Royals to just 139 runs, winning the game by 33 runs.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape Vs Pretoria Capitals (MD7 – 14/01/2025)

Sunrisers Eastern Cape lost to Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 2025 on 14th January 2020. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape batted first but were bowled out for just 113 runs. Marco Jansen scored 51 runs in 35 balls, but no one else in the team supported him. Pretoria Capitals were able to chase this low target comfortably, doing so in 16 overs with the help of Will Jacks and Marques Ackerman, winning the game by six wickets with 24 balls to spare.

Joburg Super Kings Vs Durban’s Super Giants (MD8 – 14/01/2025)

Joburg Super Kings had a fantastic showing when they faced Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20 2025 on 14th January 2025. Joburg Super Kings batted first, and it was not one individual performance but a team contribution by Devon Conway, Leus du Plooy, Jonny Bairstow, Wihan Lubbe, and Donovan Ferreira helped JSK set a target of 170 for DSG. The Kings were able to bowl the Giants out for just 141 runs and won the game by a margin of 28 runs.

MI Cape Town Vs Paarl Royals (MD9 – 15/01/2025)

The game between MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals, which took place on 15th January 2025, was full of excitement. MI Cape Town batted first, and Rassie van der Dussen put in a masterclass, scoring 91 runs in 64 balls to help his team reach a total of 158. This was a decent total, but Paarl Royals saw Lhuan-dre Pretorius open brilliantly, scoring 83 runs in 52 balls at a strike rate of 159.62. This helped his team win by six wickets with six balls remaining.

Pretoria Capitals Vs Joburg Super Kings (MD10 – 16/01/2025)

The game between Pretoria Capitals and Joburg Super Kings, which took place on 16th January 2025, was called off and ended up having no result. Pretoria Capitals batted first and managed to score 138 runs in 20 overs, setting a decent target for JSK to chase. However, the second inning never ended up starting due to heavy rain. The teams waited and waited for the rain to stop, but eventually, the match was called off without a result. While Joburg Super Kings fans would like to assume that they would be able to chase the score down if they got the opportunity, no one knows what would actually happen if the second inning had played out.

 

Sunrisers Eastern Cape Vs Durban’s Super Giants (MD11 – 17/01/2025)

Sunrisers Eastern Cape faced the Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20 2025 on 17th January 2025. Sunrisers Eastern Cape batted first, and Zak Crawley (38 runs in 29 balls), Tom Abell (57 runs in 39 balls), and Marco Jansen (36 runs in 26 balls) helped his team set a target of 166 for DSG to try and chase. While they started well, they completely collapsed and ended up being bowled out for just 197 runs, losing the game by a margin of 58 runs.

Pretoria Capitals Vs Paarl Royals (MD12 – 18/01/2025)

The game between Pretoria Capitals and Paarl Royals, which took place on 18th January 2025, was one of the most exciting games in the history of SA20. Pretoria Capitals batted first, and terrific performances by Rahmanullah Gurbaz (42 runs in 29 balls), Will Smeed (54 runs in 34 balls), Kyle Verreynne (45 runs in 23 balls), and James Neesham (28 runs in 13 balls) saw PC score 212 runs. While this was a huge target, Joe Root (92 runs in 60 balls), Rubin Hermann (56 runs in 33 balls), and David Miller (48 runs in 24 balls) played brilliantly to help PR chase the target down and win the game by eight wickets with two balls to spare.

Joburg Super Kings Vs MI Cape Town (MD13 – 18/01/2025)

The game between Joburg Super Kings and MI Cape Town in the SA20 2025 on 18th January 2025 saw MI Cape Town absolutely crush Joburg Super Kings. JSK Batted first and managed to set a target of 173 with the help of Devon Conway (35 runs in 31 balls), Faf du Plessis (61 runs in 38 balls), and Jonny Bairstow (43 runs in 27 balls). MI Cape Town came out swinging and managed to chase the target in just 15.5 overs with the help of Rassie van der Dussen (39 runs in 24 balls), Ryan Rickelton (89 runs in 39 balls), and Reeza Hendricks (34 runs in 28 balls).

Durban’s Super Giants Vs Sunrisers Eastern Cape (MD14 – 19/01/2025)

Durban’s Super Giants faced the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in SA20 2025 on 19th January 2025. This was the last game to take place in SA20 2025 last week. Durban’s Super Giants batted first, and only Kane Williamson and Naveen-ul-Haq (30 runs in 15 balls) managed to perform (44 runs in 45 balls). Sunrisers Eastern Cape chased down this low total very easily, doing so in just 15.2 overs, winning the game by six wickets with 28 balls to spare.
