SA20 2024 Schedule Update: The second edition of a cricket tournament called SA20 will have six teams competing against each other. These teams are MI Cape Town, Durban Super Giants, Johannesburg Super Kings, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. SA20 is a good thing for Cricket South Africa because it gives young players a chance to show off their skills and maybe even get picked for the national team. It’s like the Indian Premier League (IPL) in that way.
At the SA20 auctions, where teams buy players to join their team, there were a lot of ups and downs. Some really good players didn’t get picked by any team, while others did. We’ve made a list of the players who did get picked, and we’ll share it with you in an article.
SA20 is exciting because it’s a chance for players from all over Africa to come together and compete in a big tournament. It’s also a chance for them to show off their skills to coaches and scouts who might be looking for new talent. If they do well in SA20, they might get to play for the national team someday.
