Rohit Sharma scored one of his highest-ever scores against Australia on 16th October 2013. He opened the batting and remained not out till the end. Australia had made 359 runs in the first inning, and Sharma’s brilliant inning helped them chase the score down to just 43.3 overs, which resulted in the loss of just one wicket. He ended up making 141 runs in 123 balls at a strike rate of 114.63.
The Indian batsman played another brilliant inning against New Zealand on 29th October 2017. He made 147 runs in 138 balls at a strike rate of 106.52, including 18 fours and two sixes. His brilliant inning helped India set a target of 338 for New Zealand to chase. While New Zealand made a valiant effort, they could only make 331 runs in 50 overs, losing by six runs.
Rohit Sharma played a blinder against South Africa on 11th October 2015, making 150 runs before being caught and bowled by Imran Tahir. The Indian star made 150 runs in 133 balls, including 13 fours and six sixes, ending the inning with a strike rate of 112.78. While this helped India come very close to the target set by South Africa, they ended up falling just short, losing the game by five runs.
India played against West Indies on 21st October 2018 in Guwahati. West Indies set a good target of 323 for India to chase down, and Rohit Sharma was one of the players who stepped up. Rohit Sharma opened the game and made 162 runs at a strike rate of 118.24 before losing his wicket to Ashley Nurse. His brilliant inning included four sixes and a massive 20 fours. This performance helped India set a target of 378 for the West Indies to chase. However, they succumbed having made just 153 runs, losing to India by a huge 224 runs.
Rohit Sharma’s 171 against Australia on 12th June 2016 is one of the best ODI innings of all time. It seemed impossible to stop Rohit Sharma, who remained not out until the end of the innings. He made 171 runs in 163 balls at a strike rate of 104.90. While this helped India set a good target, it was all in vain, as Australia ended up chasing it down in 49.2 overs, winning the game by five wickets with four balls remaining.
Rohit Sharma scored an ODI double-century for the third time in his career on 13th December 2017 in a match against Sri Lanka. Sharma remained not out throughout the game and made 208 runs in 153 balls, ending with a strike rate of 135.94. He hit 13 fours and 12 sixes to help India set a target of 393 for Sri Lanka. The opposition was unable to chase this, and India ended up winning the game by 141 runs.
Rohit Sharma’s first-ever ODI double century came against Australia on 2nd November 2013. Sharma crossed the 200-run mark before losing his wicket to Clint McKay. He made 209 runs in 158 balls, including 12 fours and 16 sixes, ending his inning with a strike rate of 132.27. India set a strong target of 384 and bowled out Australia for just 326 runs, winning the game by 57 runs.

India faced Sri Lanka on 13th November 2014, and to this date, it stands to be Rohit Sharma’s best-ever innings. The Indian opener smashed 264 runs in just 173 balls against Sri Lanka at a strike rate of 152.60. This brilliant knock included nine sixes and a whopping 33 fours. Sharma helped his team set a target of 405 for Sri Lanka to chase and bowled them out for just 251 runs, winning the game by a margin of 153 runs.
