Indian team captain Rohit Sharma (39) holds the record of playing the most matches played in T20 World Cups. Perry sits at the probability of breaking Sharma’s record if he manages to feature for Australia in the tournament.

Suzie Bates could become the first women cricketer to hit 1,000 runs in the Women’s T20 World Cup history. Currently sitting with 929 runs from 32 innings against her name, the New Zealand batter needs 71 runs to break the milestone. Former West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor (881) and Australia skipper Meg Lanning (843) are also in line to reach the four-figure mark during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.

Anya Shrubsole is the current holder of taking the most wickets in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The former England quick has 41 scalps against her name. However, Perry is just 4 wickets away from surpassing her record with South Africa’s Shabnim Ismail, as well as Stafanie Taylor and Megan Schutt in the running to end up claiming the most wickets in WC history.
