The 23-year-old is highly regarded by the England team, and this century will almost certainly be the first of many as he seeks to establish himself as a regular in the Test team. “You watch him bat in the nets and he has a very disciplined method,” Jos Buttler, England’s white ball captain, said on Sky Sports.
“Even in T20s, he would deploy a flawless forward defence.” He has a tonne of game in every format. He has it all, including easy power. He enjoys batting as much as Joe Root.”
Pakistan legend Waqar Younis praised Brook as well, telling BBC Test Match Special: “Exceptional player.” Brook has thought of everything. He is technically very sound.
