The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kicked off on 13th February 2023, with the T20 tournament having a plethora of talent on display. It has gone on to establish itself as one of the best franchise-based competitions in the world, with many world-class stars featuring in it.
PSL follows a round-robin format, which sees all six teams square off against each other at least twice in the tournament. Every side plays their opponent once at home and once away during the group stages. Four teams make it past the group stages in the knockouts, with two sides competing in the final and end the quest of winning the trophy.
Star players like Babar Azam, who featured for Islamabad United and Karachi Kings in the tournament alongside Peshawar Zalmi’s Kamran Akmal and Fakhar Zaman have been a few of the best batters in the tournament so far. They have multiple records against their name in PSL 2023. Such world-class batters will surely ensure an entertaining PSL 2023.
