Virat Kohli
One of the best batters of the generation, Virat Kohli, could play his last ODI World Cup in 2023. The 34-year-old star has a fantastic record in the tournament scoring six half-centuries alongside two hundred in 26 innings. Mohammed Shami
Surely amongst India’s best strike bowlers, Shami is on the fading end of his career. The fast bowler is already 33 years old and could play his last World Cup in 2023. Fast bowlers usually don’t, and it is a very difficult possibility to see a 37-year-old speedster compete at the highest level.
Shami has bowled close to 100 overs in the ICC ODI World Cup, taking 31 wickets in the tournament. He has recorded figures of 5/69 and an economy rate of 5.06 while registering a strike rate of 18.61. He surely will be aiming to call it quits on a high and play an important role in his last ODI World Cup appearance.
