The dates for the T20 World to be held in October-November this year have been announced by the ICC. The ICC said, “BCCI will be the host of the tournament, which will now be played at Dubai International Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi and Oman Cricket Academy Ground from 17 October to 14 November 2021.”

Eight qualifying teams will participate in the first round of the tournament, which will be played in Oman and the UAE. Four of these teams will advance to the Super 12 round, where there will be 8 qualifiers. The upcoming tournament will be the first T20 World Cup after 2016. The last time West Indies won the title was by defeating England.
