After continuing his impressive performances, Premier League club Aston Villa came calling on 9th September 2020. Villa paid £28 million, which could rise to £33 million, which was a then club-record fee. He made his Premier League debut on 21st September 2020 against Sheffield United and scored his first Premier League goal two weeks later against Liverpool. He ended his debut season as Aston Villa’s top goal scorer.
