The low-scoring clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants turned out to be a thrilling encounter as things turns sour after the game. Faf du Plessis’ side emerged victorious this time around, with RCB winning the game by 18 runs. However, what happened after the match caught the eye of all fans as Virat Kohli engaged in a heated argument with Naveen-ul-Haq and Gautam Gambhir.
The incident was triggered when the LSG bowler Naveen-ul-Haq and Kohli exchanged words during the post-match handshake. Naveen seemed to not leave Kohli’s hand, aggravating the former Indian skipper which led to Kyle Mayers jumping in and a word with Kohli. However, Gambhir interrupted the conversation and started to pull the opener away. While Kohli seemed to be silent Gambhir by placing a hand on his shoulder, the conversation took an ugly turn. It saw both Indian skippers angrily exchanging words and later had to be separated by players of respective teams.

After the match, Virat Kohli posted a quote on his Instagram story. The former RCB skipper post reads, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” Many see Kohli’s latest Instagram story as an indirect dig at naysayers giving their opinion on his spat with LSG officials without knowing the complete truth.
