Jasprit Bumrah is rumored to be ruled out of the highly anticipated ICC T20 World Cup, with the news coming as a big shock to the Indian cricket team fans. The 28 year old speedster is reported to have suffered a back fracture with the injury expected to sideline him for well over 4-6 months.
Undoubtedly India’s best fast bowler, Rohit Sharma will be disappointed to not be able to call up for the tournament. His fitness has come under scrutiny after the speedster missed the Asia Cup 2022 due to a back injury. Later, Jasprit Bumrah missed yet another game during the recently concluded T20I series against Australia.
He made a comeback to the national team for the second and the third T20I game before being on the sidelines of the series-opener against South Africa yet again. He is now ruled out of the whole tour and is not expected to get back in action this year.
With Bumrah, out of action for nearly six months, Fans have started to question if the speedster will be able to return for IPL 2023. Questions have also been raised on the speedster’s fitness and injury as he played more matches for Mumbai Indians during the 2021 edition of the tournament than for Team India.

#JaspritBumrah don’t worry he will be fit for IPL as he had played all 14 matches for Mumbai Indians.

India has played 49 T20Is in last two years. Bumrah missed 39 of them. So he played just 10 matches for India. But has played 14 for Mumbai Indians in 2 month & hot weather.

Jusprit Bumrah can’t play 3-4 back to back games for India and always unfit for crucial tournaments for country
But he is always fit for Mumbai Indians in IPL. Such a shame!
Hence proved , Money matters most than country.

Yeah. Let him rest. He has to be fit & fine for Mumbai Indians before IPL 2023 where he will play every match non-stop for 2 months. Notice how our top players rest/get injured during important international tournaments but are always playing IPL matches with niggles or injuries? https://t.co/zozT0FLPZW
