Marco Jansen picked up the wickets of Pathum Nissanka, Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Matthews, Dhananjaya de Silva, Prabath Jayasuriya, Vishwa Fernando, and Asitha Fernando. His fast-paced bowling dismantled the Sri Lankan batting lineup, and Jansen blew past the 50-wicket mark. After impressing in various domestic leagues, he was given the chance to impress for his country in a Test match against Inda on 26th December 2021. His One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) debuts came the following year on 19th January 2022 and 17th June 2022 respectively. He has since made a name for himself as a fantastic all-rounder and will hope he can continue to prove his worth not only for his country but also for any domestic franchise he ends up playing for.
