He was doing a fantastic job in helping Sporting CP become an extremely dominant side, giving competition to some of the best teams in the world, which is why the Red Devils decided to sign him. Matthijs de Ligt

Matthijs de Ligt will almost certainly be the central figure of Ruben Amorim’s defence. The heart of the defence has to be very solid, and this is exactly what de Ligt can provide. The Danish star is just 21 years old and hopes that he can develop into a monstrous striker under the tutelage of Ruben Amorim. Hojlund has already seen how Amorim helped develop Gyokeres and will be eager to learn from him.
