The Indian Premier League (IPL) is renowned for its explosive batting, six-hitting extravaganzas, and high-scoring thrillers but it has also seen some very low totals. The very aggression that defines the league is also what makes it prone to sudden batting collapses. With teams constantly looking to maintain a high run rate and capitalise on every over, risk-taking is the norm, not the exception. This aggressive approach, while entertaining, often leads to wickets tumbling in clusters, causing huge collapses which lead to very low team totals. This article talks about the 10 lowest totals in Indian Premier League history.
