Harry Chambers was an English professional footballer who spent his career playing as a striker. Chambers played football from 1915 to 1934 and represented the English national football team from 1921 to 1923. Harry Chambers started his professional career while playing for the Liverpool football team. He represented the club from 1915 to 1928, scoring a total of 151 goals for them across all competitions in 339 appearances. This puts his goals-per-game ratio during his career with the Reds at 0.45. Chambers ended up representing a total of four clubs in his career, namely West Bromwich Albion, Oakengates Town, and Hereford United alongside Liverpool.

9. Michael Owen – 158 Goals

Michael Owen is another English striker who is regarded as a big Liverpool legend despite the fact that he played for the their arch-rivals, Manchester United. Owen was an incredible striker and played for a series of prestigious clubs, including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, and Manchester United. Owen started his professional career while playing for the Reds and ended up playing for them from 1996 to 2004. He ended up making a total of 297 appearances for them across all competitions and scored 158 goals for them with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.53.

8. Kenny Dalglish – 172 Goals

Kenny Dalglish Kenny Dalglish is a Scottish striker who played for Celtic before joining Liverpool. The striker spent his entire career representing just two teams, Celtic and the Reds. Dalglish played for Celtic from 1969 to 1977, making 338 appearances for them before leaving to join Liverpool ahead of the 1977/78 season. Fowler started his professional career while playing for the Reds, making his senior professional debut during the 1993/94 season. 6. Steven Gerrard – 186 Goals

Steven Gerrard is one of, if not Liverpool’s biggest legends of all time. Known for his incredible loyalty and love for the club, Gerrard played for just two clubs throughout his career, the Reds and LA Galaxy. He spent just one season playing for LA Galaxy, while he played for Liverpool from 1998 to 2015. Gerrard has managed to make his way onto the list despite being a midfielder. This is not due to his goal-scoring ability but due to his longevity. He ended up making 710 appearances for them across all competitions and scored 185 goals for them at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.26.

5. Billy Liddell – 228 Goals

Billy Liddell was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a winger during his career. He spent his entire career playing for just one team, Liverpool. Liddell played for the Reds from 1938 to 1961 and became one of their biggest icons and the fifth-highest goal-scorer in the Reds’ history. Billy Liddell represented Liverpool across 16 different seasons, making a total of 534 appearances for them across all competitions while scoring 228 goals. Liddell ended his football career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.43.

4. Gordon Hodgson – 241 Goals

Gordon Hodgson had an amazing football career and will go down in history as one of the forwards in Liverpool’s history. Hodgson played for three teams throughout his career, namely the Reds, Aston Villa, and Leeds United. However, his career started while playing for the Reds, and he spent the majority of his football career representing them. Gordon Hodgson represented the Reds from 1925 to 1936, scoring 241 goals for them in 378 appearances at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.64. He ended up representing Liverpool across 11 different seasons and will go down in history as one of their biggest legends.

Mohamed Salah is regarded as one of the best wingers of all time and is the only player on this list who is still an active footballer. He transformed into one of the best footballers of his generation and will go down in history as one of the biggest Liverpool legends of all time. Salah joined them ahead of the 2017/18 season. However, almost the entirety of his career was spent while playing for them. Roger Hunt ended up playing for the Reds from 1958 to 1969 and represented them in 11 different seasons, scoring 285 goals for them in 492 appearances at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.58.
