The Cityzens signed Stones on 9th August 2016 on a six-year contract, making him the world’s second most expensive defender in history. The defender ended up making his debut for the club four days later against Sunderland. He joined Manchester City in the same season as legendary manager Pep Guardiola, and they both have since continued to be at Manchester City and perform brilliantly while making history.
