Javed Miandad Urges Pakistan Not to Travel To India For ICC Men’s World Cup, Says “Go To Hell”: Pakistan’s decision on whether to travel to India for the upcoming ODI World Cup match is still up in the air. Former cricketer Javed Miandad has said that he believes Pakistan should not travel to India, and there are reports that Pakistan may indeed refuse to travel.
This is because the BCCI has rejected the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB’s) hybrid model for the Asia Cup, which would have seen some matches played in Pakistan. With the suspense continuing, Miandad’s comments are sure to draw reactions.
In a recent interview, former cricketer Javed Miandad said that Pakistan should refuse to play India in the upcoming ODI World Cup match. He argued that India has not reciprocated Pakistan’s invitation to play in Pakistan and that Pakistan’s cricket team is better than India’s. Miandad said that Pakistan does not need to play India and that if India does not want to play in Pakistan, then they can “go to hell.”

Miandad responded similarly to what was stated by Times Now, “Main sabse pehle refuse kar du aur jab tak India hamare paas nahi aaye hume nahi jana chahiye. Pehle yehi hota tha, ek saal woh aate the, ek saal hum. India is supposed to come and play in Pakistan. Hume inki fikar nahi hai. Hamari cricket unse bohot unchi hai aur zabardast hai. Naa aao, main kehta hu ki bhaad mein jaao nahi aate to. Hume kya farak padta hai.”
The 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup will be held in India from 5th to 19th November. The tournament will feature ten teams, with eight teams having already qualified and two more to be decided through qualifiers. The opening match will be played between England and New Zealand on 5th October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The highly anticipated India-Pakistan match is scheduled for 15th October at the same venue. This will be the first time that India will be hosting the World Cup as the sole host, having previously co-hosted the tournament in 1987, 1996, and 2011.
