Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj are reported to not be on talking terms ahead of the highly anticipated 3rd test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Both the players are claimed to be on opposite ends of the rope, following Siraj’s antics on social media.
The 28-year-old pacer has gone on to become a key part of the Indian national cricket team over the years. Siraj has created a name for himself in international cricket following his exploits in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Test matches.
Recently the young bowler shared a post on Instagram where he is seen sitting on the bonnet of a grey Mahendra Thar. The cricketer is chilling on his dashing luxury vehicle in the image, which is captioned stating, “Calm before the storm.. ☄️”

However, could this post land the Hyderabad-based cricketer in trouble? Siraj’s latest Instagram post highlights CEAT tyres in the image. This could have angered Virat Kohli, with the former Indian skipper often seen branding and endorsing MRF Tyres. It is worth noting that CEAT is a competitor of MRF Tyres, and Siraj’s decision to promote CEAT in his post could not have go well with Kohli.
Kohli and Siraj featured for India in the recently concluded first two test matches between India and Australia. Both teams are scheduled to square off in the Border Gavaskar Trophy for four test matches. While there have been no official reports on the incident, it will be fair to assume that Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj have managed to sort the issue out without creating much of a hassle.
