The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction is set to take place on 24th and 25th November 2025 and will start at 12:30 PM local time (15:00 IST). This means that it will take place during the first game of the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), which will take place in Perth. While the Indian Cricket Team will be concentrating on facing Australia, it is a good thing that, given the timings, both days’ play will more or less be over by the time the auction starts, and the Indian players can watch the auction in their hotel rooms.
