IPL 2018: SRH Defend Yet Another Low Total

Not many times do you see the Man of the Match award being given to a player from the losing side, and that gives you an idea of how well the 24-year may have bowled. Manish Pandey was the top scorer for SRH, with 54. All Punjab would’ve wanted at the innings break was their openers Gayle and Rahul to give them a good start and finish this game off easily.

The openers played their shots and gave the team a good start with a partnership of 55. However, everything went downhill from there with both openers being dismissed in the space of 3 balls, followed by a string of wickets and Punjab being bowled out for 119.

Some poor bowling towards the back-end and horrible fielding cost Punjab the game last night. After building the pressure early on, they gave away far too many runs towards the back-end and dropped quite a few easy catches.
