Istvan Nyers is regarded as one of the biggest legends in Inter Milan’s history. The Hungarian winger was simply incredible and fun to watch, and he played for various clubs throughout his career, including the likes of Roma and Barcelona. Inter Milan was the first big club Nyers played for, and he ended up staying at the Italian club from 1948 to 1954. Benito Lorenzi was an Italian striker who played for a total of five clubs during his career. He played for Empoli, Alessandria, Brescia, and Varese, but the majority of his career was spent playing for one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, Inter Milan. Lorenzi played for the Italian club from 1947 to 1958, representing them for over a decade. In this time, he ended up scoring 143 goals for them while making 314 appearances across all competitions, which makes his goals-per-game ratio 0.46. He helped Inter Milan win two Serie A titles in the 1952/53 and the 1953/54 seasons.
Lautaro Martinez is an Argentine professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Serie A side Inter Milan. He is the other player on this list, an active player, and the only one currently playing for Inter Milan. The talented striker started his career while playing for the Argentine football club, the Racing Club, but was quickly scouted by Inter Milan. The Italian side decided to sign him in 2018, and he has continued to play for them ever since. Luigi Cavenini had an amazing football career and will go down in history as one of the greatest forwards in Inter Milan’s history. The Italian striker peculiarly had three stints with Inter Milan, two stints with AC Milan, and one stint with Juventus. He played for Inter from 1912 to 1915, 1919 to 1921, and 1922 to 1927. While there are conflicting reports as to how many goals and how many appearances Cevenini made while playing for Inter, according to the club website, the talented striker made a total of 190 appearances for the club and scored 158 goals, which makes his goals-per-game ratio an astounding 0.83, higher than anyone else on this list.
Sandro Mazzola is regarded as one of the biggest legends in Inter Milan’s history. He was an Italian forward who played for just one team throughout his career. He played for the I Nerazzurri from 1960 to 1977, representing them in 17 different seasons. He ended up making 568 appearances for the club during this time and scored 161 goals with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.28. This is quite a low ratio, and the main reason Mazzola has managed to get onto this list is his longevity. Sandro Mazzola ended up winning various trophies while playing for Inter, including four Serie A titles, two European Cups, and two Intercontinental Cups.

Roberto Boninsegna was an Italian striker who played for various Italian clubs during his career, but a major chunk of his professional career was spent playing for Inter Milan. Boninsegna played for Inter from 1969 to 1976 and scored 171 goals in 281 appearances, which puts his goals-per-game ratio at 0.61. Despite spending such a long time with the club, Boninsegna ended up winning just one Serie A title during his time with the club and was actually more successful for Juventus, where he won multiple trophies.

Alessandro Altobelli was an Italian forward who played for Latina, Brescia, and Juventus, apart from Inter Milan. Altobelli played for Inter from 1977 to 1988, representing them across 11 different seasons. In this time, he managed to score 209 goals for the club while making 466 appearances across all competitions at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.49. The Italian forward was also able to help Inter win three trophies during his time at the club, which included one Serie A title (1979/80), two Coppa Italia titles (1977/78 and 1981/82).
Giuseppe Meazza is regarded as one of the biggest legends in Inter Milan’s history, and it is no surprise to see him at the top of this list. He had two stints with the club, starting his professional career with Inter and returning for one season to retire at the club. He played for the club from 1927 to 1940 and again during the 1946/47 season. During these stints, he played for Inter in 14 different seasons and scored a total of 284 goals for them in 408 appearances across all competitions.
