The Indian Super League (ISL) is the men’s highest level of the Indian football league system. The ISL is administered by All India Football Federation (AIFF). The league was founded on 21st October 2013. ATK Football Club (ATK) was the most successful team in ISL history before it was merged with Mohun Bagan AC. Iain Hume played professional football from 2000 to 2019. He played in the Indian Super League for the first time in 2014. His last appearance came in 2019. Hume played for Kerela Blasters in 2014 and scored five goals in 16 games. He then played for Atletico de Kolkata (rebranded as ATK Football Club) in 2015 and 2016, scoring 18 goals for them in 30 games. He returned to Kerela Blasters in 2017 and scored five goals in 13 appearances. His final Indian Super League team was Pune City. He made 10 appearances for them and scored just one goal.

Hugo Boumous started his professional career in French club Laval. He moved to the Indian Super League in 2018. He played for FC Goa from 2018 to 2020. He scored 16 goals in 42 appearances for them. He then moved to Mumbai City. He scored three goals for them in 16 games. He currently plays for Mohun Bagan SG. He has already scored 11 goals for them in 45 appearances.

Liallianzuala Chhangte’s debut in the India Super League came in 2017. His first team was the Delhi Dynamos (rebranded as Odisha Football Club). He made 36 appearances for them and scored eight goals. He then decided to move to Chennaiyin FC. He played for Chennaiyin FC between 2019 and 2022. During this period, he made 53 appearances for them and scored 12 goals. Chhangte’s current team in the Indian Super League is Mumbai City. He has been representing them since 2022. He has made 46 appearances for them and scored 13 goals.

Marcelinho has scored 34 goals in the Indian Super League. His debut in the ISL came with the Delhi Dynamos (rebranded as Odisha Football Club) in 2016. He scored 10 goals for them in 15 games. He then played in the Indian Super League with Pune City from 2017 to 2019. He played 33 games for them and scored 16 goals.
In 2019, he left Pune City to join Hyderabad Football Club, scoring seven goals in 17 games. He moved to Odisha Football Club in 2020 but was unable to score in eight appearances. Marcelinho then transferred to Rajasthan United but never played a game for them. He was loaned out to NorthEast United, where he scored his final goal, taking his tally to 34 goals.

Diego Mauricion made his debut in the Indian Super League with Odisha FC in 2020. He scored 12 goals in 20 games for the club. After a short stint in Qatar, he joined the ISL team Mumbai City. He made seven appearances for them and scored three goals. He rejoined Odisha Football Club in 2022 and still plays for them. In his second stint, he has scored 19 goals in 38 appearances to date, taking his total tally to 34 goals scored in the Indian Super League.

Cleiton Silva has only ever played for two Indian Super League clubs. He made his ISL debut in 2020 for Bengaluru Football Club. He played 37 games for them and scored 16 goals. He transferred to East Bengal in 2022. He currently still plays for them. He has made 36 appearances for them to date and has scored 19 goals. This takes his total to 35 goals scored in 73 games.

Ferran Corominas, also known as Coro, is the fourth-highest goal scorer in the Indian Super League. Coro has only represented Goa Football Club in the Indian Super League. He played for them from 2017 to 2020. He scored 48 goals in 57 appearances for the club, ending his ISL career with an incredible goals-per-game ratio of 0.84.

Roy Krishna is one of the three football players who have scored more than 50 goals in the Indian Super League. He made his ISL debut with ATK (rebranded as ATK Football Club) in 2019. He scored 15 goals for them in 21 appearances. Despite being so good for them, he decided to leave in 2020 and join ATK Mohun Bagan (rebranded as Mohun Bagan SG). He played 39 games for them and scored 21 goals. In 2022, he moved to Bengaluru Football Club and scored six goals in 22 games. His current team is Odisha Football Club. He moved to Odisha FC in 2023. He has made 18 appearances for them till now and has scored 12 goals.

Sunil Chhetri is arguably the best Indian player ever to play football. It comes as no surprise to see Chhetri so high up on this list of goal-scorers. Chettri has represented two teams in the Indian Super League. He made his ISL debut with Mumbai City in 2015. He scored seven goals in 17 appearances for them. His major time in the league, however, comes with Bengaluru FC. He has been playing for Bengaluru Football Club since 2017. He has played in 134 ISL games for them and scored 53 goals. This takes his total tally to 60 goals scored, and he will surely soon overtake number 1 to become the highest goal scorer in Indian Super League history.

Bartholomew Ogbeche is the highest goal scorer in Indian Super League history. He made his ISL debut in 2018 with NorthEast United. He scored 12 goals in 18 games for them. In 2019, he decided to move to Kerela Blasters. He made 16 appearances for them and scored 15 goals. He moved once again, this time to Mumbai City. He played in 23 games for Mumbai City and scored eight goals. His longest stint in the league came with his fourth and final Indian Super League club. He joined Hyderabad Football Club in 2021. He made 41 appearances for them and scored 28 goals, taking his total tally to 63 goals scored in 98 appearances.
