IND vs ENG: Decoding Indian Squad Against England

IND vs ENG: Decoding Indian Squad against England: India will face England in the second semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022 on 10th November 2022. Both sides will meet for the first time in the contest at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, Australia, at 1:30 PM IST. England and India are both one of the best sides in the tournament and would be looking forward to thrashing each other and ending the contest on a winning note. As it is the semi-finals, the team that wins the game qualifies for the finals.

When it comes to T20 cricket, one cannot deny that no one can play this format better than England. However, after defeating Pakistan and Zimbabwe, India’s squad morale is elevated. With Arshdeep Singh in such good form, India and co will be looking forward to dominating the game in the powerplays.

Team India is not someone that cannot be trounced. With Virat Kohli back in form and Surya Kumar Yadav in his prime, England and India can thrash any team they face. We expect Rohit Sharma to play his role against England to dominate the game. India and co should look forward to changing their spin department as it ultimately failed against South Africa and Pakistan. Before this epic encounter, let’s decode India’s squad against England.

IND vs ENG: Decoding Indian Squad

Team India Probable Playing XI: KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ashwin, Chahal/Axar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arashdeep, Shami

Batting:

With KL Rahul back in form, team India’s concern for the top order is minimized. With the likes of Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, the middle order looks lethal too. The squad against England needs to manipulate powerplays, and Rohit Sharma needs to regain his form. The right-handed batter against Pakistan, Zimbabwe and South Africa was seen struggling with the bat. Hardik Pandya will take charge of death overs, and along with Dinesh Karthik, he will be looking forward to scoring some quick runs for the squad. As mentioned above, Kohli and Yadav will look into the middle order.

Bowling:

Arshdeep Singh is in excellent form, so India is hopeful that it can limit England to less than 150 runs. Along with Ravi Ashvin and Akshar Patel, India would be looking forward to dominating the spin attack in the middle overs. The pace line-up will include Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, and Mohammad Shami. Except for South Africa, India had dominated every opponent they faced.

India is a team that cannot be beaten. The bowling line-up is decent. The opening line-up appears inept, but the team has one of the best middle-order batters.
