India tumble bad in the first session. They end up losing 7 quick wickets in the first session of play as fans continue to question the turning track on Day 1 of the 3rd Test! The hosts are 84/7 at lunch!

Its a test match. Not a 1 or 2 day event. Have some respect to cricket. Home advantage is all fine but this is honestly disgusting!!! #INDvsAUSTest #Indoretest #Pitch— Prithvi (@Prithvi_GR) March 1, 2023
This is a terrible pitch for Day 1 of a Test Match… A turn of 4.8° in the 1st hr itself with ball bouncing unevenly is looking ugly…
To add to that this Indian Team keeping up the consistency of poor batting on a turning pitch, since 2015 …
Absolutely poor#BGT2023

Such a spin taking pitch in the first session on the first day is killing the romance of Test cricket.
It will be very disappointing that this test will not be able to take place even for 3 days. @BCCI#IndvsAus #BGT2023— Coverdrive (@coverdrive28) March 1, 2023

On the batting front, Usman Khawaja lead the way while Ravindra Jadeja tried to sort things out with the ball for India.

The morning session saw India take the most damage was done, as the spinners settled in to hand Australia a massive start to the series. It remains interesting to see if Australia manage to hold onto the lead and make a comeback.

Later, Ashwin struck right after the drinks break while Umesh pulled strings from the other end which saw Australia lost their last 6 wickets for 11 runs! Brilliant comeback by India, claiming 6 wickets for just 11 runs! Now all onus on Rohit and to sail the ship. Counter attacking will be the way to go. #INDvsAUSTest #BGT2023
