The ICC Champions Trophy is back, and with it, our Dream11 predictions for fantasy tournaments. The ICC Champions Trophy is making a return and will be played for the first time since 2017. It was India who managed to get their hands on the last edition of the Champions Trophy, and this year, they will be hosting the tournament alongside Dubai. The tournament will take place between 19th February and 9th March 2025, and the top eight teams from the 2023 One Day International (ODI) Cricket World Cup will participate in this tournament.
The tournament will be played in a league and knockout format, with the eight teams divided into two groups of four. The teams in each group will play each other once, with all eight teams playing a total of three games each in the group stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages. The first-position team from Group A will play the second-position team from Group B and vice versa. These two games will be in the semi-final, with the winner of both games qualifying for the final. This game will determine the winner of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

When competing in the mega Dream11 contests, you cannot build the same team as everyone and hope to win. You need to choose some risky players who can boost your rankings if they end up performing. Your captain and vice-captain selections automatically become the second or third most favourable choice so that your team stands out compared to the thousands of people participating in the mega contest. We choose teams that have a good mix of consistent players who are reliable and are must-haves while also adding some differentials that can make your rank go up exponentially if they end up performing well.
