IFSG Announces Fantasy Sports Conference on 22nd Feb

A one-day event called ‘Game Plan 2018’ has been announced by the IFSG (Indian Federation of Sports Gaming) to discuss the future and growth of the fantasy sports industry in India. The federation, formerly known as FIFS (Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports) has organized this day long conference on 22nd February 2018.

This is a first of its kind event, as it is being held solely to discuss the scope of fantasy sports in the country. Three panels will be discussing the future of fantasy sports in India. The first panel is set to discuss the investment potential in the industry; the second panel will talk about the legal aspect of the industry; the third panel will discuss how fantasy sports and sports leagues can work together.

This conference will take place at The Trident Hotel in Nariman Point in South Mumbai and Harsh Jain is scheduled to give the welcome address as well as give closing remarks at the conference. Jain is CEO and Co-Founder of Dream11, the leading fantasy sports website in India.

One of the prominent guest speakers will also include former IPL COO Sundar Raman, who is now Sports CEO at Reliance Industries.
