Bundesliga was founded in 1963. It replaced the German Football Championship. This league is regarded as one of the top football leagues in the world. This article features some of the highest-paid players in the Bundesliga. It comes as no surprise that Bayern Munich players dominate this list.

10. Jadon Sancho (~ $315,000/Week)

Jadon Sancho is on loan from Manchester United to Borussia Dortmund. He returned to Dortmund in January 2024 after losing favour with the Red Devils manager Erik Ten Hag. The Englishman had a salary of $315,000/Week at United. It is unclear how much part of that is covered by Dortmund, but if BVB pays the whole salary, it makes Sancho the 10th highest-paid player in the Bundesliga.

Matthijs de Ligt, like every player on this list apart from Jadon Sancho, plays for Bayern Munich. The Dutch midfielder signed with the club in July 2022. He signed a five-year contract with the club, keeping him at Bayern till 2027. His five-year deal is set to earn him $81.67 Million, averaging $315,000/Week.

8. Kingsley Coman (~ $350,000/Week)

Kinsley Coman’s contract was set to expire in June 2023. However, the Frenchman signed an extension in January 2022, which will keep him at the club until 2027. Coman’s new contract includes a salary package of around $91 Million for five years. This means that Coman will earn approximately $350,000/Week at Bayern.

7. Leon Goretzka (~ $375,000/Week)

Leon Goretzka signed a new contract with Bayern Munich in September 2021. This deal will keep him tied to the club till 2026. During this period, the midfielder will earn a weekly salary of $375,000. This will see him earn a total of around $97 Million in these five years.

6. Serge Gnabry (~ $390,000/Week)

Serge Gnabry has been at Bayern Munich since 2017. The German international moved back home to Germany in 2016. He left Arsenal to join Wender Bremen. He impressed in his season at Wender Bremen, and Bayern decided to sign him in 2017. He signed his latest contract extension in July 2022, which will keep him at the club till 2026. The club offered the striker a four-year contract worth approximately $110 Million to lure him to Germany.
