After the Indian pacer fell to the bottom of the pecking order, Royal Challengers Bangalore decided to let him go ahead with the 2018 IPL Mega Auction, and Delhi Daredevils decided to buy him. They managed to purchase him at a base price of just ₹20 Lakh, and he ended up playing for them for three years. However, he never made the first team spot on his own and was transferred to Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League.
